The HomeGlide, manufactured by Access BDD, offers comfort and security for the user, with a number of key distinguishing features:
- The lift has a slim aluminium rail designed to be fitted to the staircase, not the wall, which allows for quick and efficient installation with minimal disruption.
- A retractable seatbelt with an integrated sensor maximises safety, while a user-friendly joystick ensures ease of operation.
- A range of customisable options include a powered hinge for clearing obstructions at the foot of the stairs, a powered swivel seat for easy exit, seat height adjustment, a keylock for security and even a call device capable of storing three different telephone numbers!
Meeting the highest standards of certification (Machine Directive 2006/42/EC, EN 81-40:2020 UKCA), the HomeGlide has an impressive weight capacity of up to 160kg (25st), and is battery operated, ensuring uninterrupted use even during power outages.
